When the leaves drop at Great Falls, they unveil some wonderful views of the C&O Canal and Potomac River. Join Jon Wolz 10:30 a.m. December 4 at Great Falls Tavern for the annual Frostbite Hike.
Jon will lead the group up the hill behind Lock 19 up to the Overlook Trail. Then they will head to Widewater and out to Olmsted Island. Total distance is about five miles.
