We start at the boat ramp at historic Brunswick at 9:00 am and float downstream for 12 miles to the boat ramp at the mouth of the Monocacy River. Saturday, August 22 – Sunday, August 23 – Little Orleans to Hancock
After several decades of offering the Paw Paw Bends paddling opportunity, we are modifying it because we need canoes to carry supplies, and most folks paddle in kayaks these days. We will offer a modified trip starting at Little Orleans at 9:00 am and paddling to Hancock with overnight camping at the Cacapon River campsite. We will not provide community food – all participants will carry their own food and supplies. We will need shuttle paddlers between the end and start.
