Paddle trip from Rileys Lock (Seneca) through the old Potowmack Canal on the Virginia side of the Potomac to Pennyfield Lock (approx. 4.5 miles). This trip takes only about 4 or 5 hours, but is challenging with numerous rocks and ledges in the old canal. Reservations are required and paddlers must provide their own canoe/kayak and gear.
