Join us as we continue our tradition of celebrating the Association presidents and enjoying general fellowship this year. We will celebrate with lunch (not breakfast) 11 a.m. June 3.

Typically, some member rendezvous at Bill’s Place for an optional hike at 9 a.m.  The group can head down the Western Maryland Rail Trail to the Indigo Tunnel entrance, which is barricaded to visitors to protect the several species of endangered bats living there. The hikers will see the bridge detouring trail traffic around the tunnel and onto the towpath.

After the hike, about 11 a.m., the group will return to Bill’s Place for lunch. Participants can order off the regular menu. Everyone will be responsible for paying their own bill.

Some members enjoy camping the night before at Little Orleans Campground, which is near Bill’s. You can make reservations by calling the campground at (301) 478-2325.
